The fact that we have FILM LA located here in the epicenter of the film universe, keeps the machinery humming smoothly. Filmmaking is hard enough, knowing that you have an advocate in FILM LA, for filmmakers and the public at large, removes one large hurdle off the list.

LA is a wonderful, diverse and complex place. It has a vast wealth of resources to offer the filming community. It’s also a network of many different voices, rules and municipalities. FilmLA offers essential and vital services in navigating this environment. FilmLA is an indispensable resource to the filming community.

Good luck trying to produce your locations in Los Angeles without FilmLA. From juggling multiple unassociated permitting authorities in hotspots like Malibu and Venice Beach, to security, fire and water safety, drone, and lane closure requirements pretty much everywhere—not to mention the occasional HOA and parking curve balls—FilmLA covers all the bases so you can focus on creative.
